The Celtics Cut Darius Miles!!

The title says it all as the C's kicked Miles to the curb and our cap space is spared... for now... Thanks again to Danny Ainge for taking out our garbage (cough-cough Sebastian Telfair and Theo Ratliff)... I guess he realized he didn't want the jinx and plague that is known as Darius Miles like the Blazers, Cavaliers, and Clippers once did (he still has failed to make a single playoff with any team)... So I guess that's why we didn't make the playoffs the past 3 seasons and now were "D-Miles" away from Darius Miles!!

Rumor Mill on Blazer's Starting Five

My cousin has a friend and reliable source (who shall remain annonymous) from Blazersedge.com that the starting lineup come regular season for the Blazers will be as this:

C: Oden
PF: Aldridge
SF: Roy
SG: RUUUUUUDDDYYY!!
PG: Blake

Well, you could think my cousin is blowing gas from his ass with this but the last few times he's given me a headups on who the Blazers were drafting before it happened, the prediction came true. Even going back to the preminission of the dreaded "Sebass" Sebastian Telfair nightmared true so with his track record, I think I'll take his word for it...

Ideally, I'd love to see Sergio Rodriguez used more especially with his keen chemistry with his Spainard teammate Rudy so they can run the "Spanish Fly" spectacle of ally-opps and insane dishes. Move out of the way Phoenix and Golden State, because its "The GO" (Greg Oden nickname) time on the "Spanish Fly"!!

Preseason Opener: RudyMania!!! Oh Yeah!!

The basketball world was anticipating the long awaited debut of Greg Oden, but I was even more antsy for one RUUUUUUUUUDDDYYY Fernandez!! (Rudy was drafted 2 years ago, but choose to stay in Spain one more year and you could say, it was very beneficial), especially after Rudy's phenomenal performance against the U.S. during the Gold Medal match.

Although Rudy only had a mere 6 points and 5 assists, he was the spark-plug and the catalyst for the team last night vs. the Kings. It seemed like everything he did should have made SportsCenter's Top 10 Highlights itself!! Don't believe me... Check the highlights here: http://www.katu.com/sports/30608489.html?video=YHI&t=a

Also, I am glad Sergio got some good PT. His shots were going down and was able to manage a great assist to turnover ration (7-2). He was flashy with the ally-opps to Rudy (see highlight link above) and drained the majority of his shots, esp. the long ball.

All I have to say from this is I hope Nate uses a Sergio-Rudy combo when the regular season comes around...
